Our Multifaith Gatherings have ended for 2015 and will recommence in Feb. Keep posted for dates and times. Hopefully we will begin the Gatherings with a shared lunch. They have been so successful this year, growing slowly and we have formed new friendships and learn much from our times together. We thank the God of all creation for this opportunity to meet, greet and to be part of the bigger picture and the larger family.
Our MEETUP has also been cancelled now until next year. We have had a great time coffeeing, eating, chatting and forming new friendships. Blessings and we shall re-commence 2016.
We completed our time with the Men's Hostel, delivering some great soup, thanks to Mal and some yummy cakes, thanks to Jeanne. We are now looking for a new adventure to support. We also had the Blessing of our Volunteers at a mass recently. It was a wonderful morning, followed by lunch. A big thanks to our Community of the St John the Divine, Liberal Catholic Church, Perth and to Bishop James White for his love and friendship.
Our Youth Outreach is still struggling to start. Hopefully next year it will gain some momentum. Please pray for Kendell and Laurence as they become visionaries for this project.
We have Marie going to Bali, Kuta, to the One Earth School as our first volunteers. Marie goes with books, a willing heart and all of our blessings.
Our Pastoral Care continues daily, meeting the many needs of men and women as we encounter them in the community here in Freo. all are welcome to help me and to support this amazing work.
Our Order, the Franciscan's of the Cross is now taking Postulents in training for Religious life. Please contact me if you are interested in joining a great and loving work in the service of our wonderful God and Creator.
We are hoping to establish a Liberal Catholic Church community down here in Freo, all welcome to come and to learn more about what we believe, how we believe and how we engage with the world as Catholics of a liberal nature.
So, just to wind up our year, blessings and thankyou for all of your wonderful gifts to me over this year, for your prayer and for your engagement in my Consecration and in the blessing of our new Order/ Community. We have a great work to be done and it would not be done if YOU were not there to aid and support me personally in this work that I have been called to.
May the Lord bless and keep you, may HIS light shine upon you and give you peace.
In deepest love and with the deepest of respect,
Br Francis Mary.
